1
Stand between two parallel bars with feet together or slightly apart. Grip the bars with hands at approximately shoulder width, arms fully extended. Maintain an upright torso position with shoulders directly above the hands.
2
Engage core muscles and maintain neutral spine alignment. Position hands firmly on bars with a neutral grip. Prepare body for forward movement with controlled breathing.
3
Lower the body forward by flexing the shoulders and allowing the chest to move toward the bars. Maintain straight arms and keep the torso engaged. Continue descending until you feel a stretch across the chest or reach the end range of comfortable shoulder flexion.
4
Press the body back to the starting position by extending the shoulders and contracting the chest muscles. Drive back using chest and anterior shoulder muscles while maintaining arm extension. Return to fully upright posture with arms extended.
