1
Start in a prone plank position with knees on the ground, hands gripping a weight plate or disc, arms extended forward, shoulders over wrists, and core engaged with a neutral spine.
2
Grip the weight plate firmly with both hands. Ensure core is braced and glutes are engaged to maintain a stable posterior chain throughout the movement.
3
Lower the body by rolling the weight plate forward while keeping the core tight and lower back neutral, allowing the hips to move toward the ground in a controlled manner without hyperextension of the spine.
4
Drive through the core and hip flexors to pull the weight plate back toward the starting position, extending the body forward and returning to the neutral plank position with shoulders over wrists.
