1
Stand with feet hip-width apart, arms at sides or extended overhead for balance, core engaged, and body weight distributed evenly across both feet.
2
Prepare by maintaining an upright torso, slight forward lean, and engage core stabilizer muscles. Position arms overhead or out to sides for counterbalance to assist with vertical propulsion.
3
Lower body by bending at knees and hips simultaneously, descending into a squat position until thighs reach approximately parallel to ground or deeper based on mobility, maintaining neutral spine and chest upright.
4
Drive through heels and extend legs explosively, extending hips and knees to propel body vertically off ground. At peak height, extend arms overhead and fully plantar flex ankles. Land softly on forefeet, rolling back to full foot contact, then immediately decelerate into next repetition.
