1
Sit upright on the stationary bike seat with hands gripping the handlebar. Position feet on the pedals with the ball of the foot over the pedal axle. Adjust seat height so knee is slightly bent at bottom of pedal stroke.
2
Grasp the handlebar with neutral grip. Establish a steady cadence and prepare to pedal with controlled, smooth movements. Engage core and maintain upright posture throughout.
3
Push the pedal downward and forward through the power stroke, extending the knee and hip while maintaining pressure. Allow the leg to extend fully without locking the knee joint.
4
Complete the pedal revolution by pulling the pedal backward and upward, allowing the quadriceps to relax while hamstrings and hip flexors assist. Return to starting position and repeat in continuous circular motion.
