Sit on the floor with knees bent and feet flat. Recline slightly back so your torso is at approximately 45 degrees to the floor. Keep your hands behind your head or crossed over your chest.

Position your feet flat on the ground with knees bent at 90 degrees. Engage your core and maintain a neutral neck position. Hands can be placed behind the head for support or crossed over the chest.

Lower your torso backward by extending through the hip flexors and abdominal muscles, bringing your shoulders closer to the ground in a controlled manner. Keep your knees bent and feet planted.

Contract your abdominal muscles and pull your torso upward toward your knees, lifting your shoulders off the ground. Return to the starting position with control, maintaining tension throughout the movement.
