1
Sit on the floor with hands positioned behind you for support, palms flat on the ground. Keep your torso upright and core engaged throughout the movement.
2
Position your legs in front of you with knees slightly bent. Place hands firmly on the ground behind hips for stabilization. Engage your core before initiating movement.
3
Slowly lower your torso backward by leaning back while simultaneously lifting and extending one leg up toward your chest in a controlled manner. The movement is eccentric as your abdominal muscles lengthen under tension.
4
Drive your leg back down to the starting position while simultaneously bringing your torso upright by contracting your abdominal muscles. Return to the starting position with controlled movement, squeezing the abs at the top of the movement.
