Stand upright facing the suspension trainer anchor point with feet shoulder-width apart, maintaining neutral spine and engaged core. Hold the suspension strap handle in one hand at chest height for balance.

Grip the suspension handle firmly and establish a stable stance. Shift body weight evenly through both feet. Engage core musculature to maintain postural alignment throughout the movement.

Perform a controlled lunge by stepping forward with one leg, lowering the body by bending both knees until the rear knee nearly touches the ground. The front knee should track over the ankle without extending past the toes. Lower with control through 3-4 seconds.

Drive through the front heel to extend the front leg, propelling the body back to the starting position. Engage the quadriceps and glutes to return to standing while maintaining upright posture. Complete all reps on one side before switching legs.
