Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, weight distributed evenly on both feet, hands clasped in front of chest at mid-level, torso upright with neutral spine alignment.

Engage core muscles and maintain an upright posture. Keep chest up and shoulders back. Ensure hands remain clasped and positioned near the sternum throughout the movement.

Lower body by flexing at the hips and knees simultaneously, descending in a controlled manner as if sitting back into a chair. Keep knees tracking over toes and weight in heels. Lower until thighs are parallel to ground or slightly below.

Drive through heels and extend hips and knees to return to standing position in a controlled manner. Maintain upright torso and engaged core throughout the ascent. Exhale as you drive upward to starting position.
