Stand with feet hip-width apart, knees slightly bent, arms at sides or across chest. Maintain neutral spine alignment with shoulders back and core engaged.

Raise one arm overhead while keeping the other at your side. Feet remain planted on the ground. Engage core to prepare for lateral flexion movement.

Slowly lower the overhead arm toward the ground by flexing laterally (bending) at the waist. Allow the torso to lean to one side in a controlled manner, creating a deep stretch along the opposite side.

Contract the abdominal and oblique muscles to return to the upright starting position. Drive through the core to bring the torso back to center. Alternate sides and repeat.
