1
Stand upright facing a vertical pole or TRX strap held with one hand at shoulder height for balance. Position feet hip-width apart with body weight evenly distributed on the forefoot and ball of the foot.
2
Grip the pole lightly with fingertips for balance only. Keep core engaged and maintain an upright posture. Position weight primarily on the balls of both feet, ready to lift heels.
3
Lower your body by allowing heels to descend toward the floor in a controlled manner, stretching the calf muscles while maintaining balance with the pole. Keep the knee slightly bent and maintain torso alignment.
4
Press through the balls of the feet to raise the body upward, lifting heels as high as possible while standing on the forefoot. Squeeze the calf muscles at the top of the movement, then lower with control to complete one repetition.
