1
Stand upright facing the machine with feet hip-width apart. Place hands on the handles for light balance support. Keep torso upright and core engaged throughout the movement.
2
Position feet flat on the footrest with weight distributed evenly across the balls and heels of the feet. Establish a stable neutral stance with slight knee flexion to allow full range of motion.
3
Lower the body by allowing the heels to drop downward in a controlled manner, lengthening the calf muscles. Descend to the point where a comfortable stretch is felt in the calves without forcing excessive range.
4
Push through the balls of the feet to extend the ankles and raise the body upward, contracting the calf muscles maximally. Return to the starting position with controlled tempo.
