1
Stand upright with feet hip-width apart, core engaged, and arms at sides or hands on hips for balance. Maintain neutral spine alignment throughout the movement.
2
Shift weight onto one leg while keeping the other leg ready to drive upward. Keep your torso upright and shoulders back.
3
Lower the body by allowing the stance leg knee to flex while the opposite leg extends downward in a controlled manner, preparing for the next repetition.
4
Drive through the heel of the stance leg and explosively extend the hip and knee to lift the body upward. Simultaneously drive the opposite knee up toward chest height. Return to standing position and repeat on alternating legs.
