1
Stand with feet hip-width apart, weight distributed evenly through both feet, torso upright with neutral spine, arms positioned at chest level with hands clasped or crossed
2
Engage core muscles and maintain neutral posture. Keep chest up and shoulders back. Ensure knees are aligned with toes and positioned over ankles
3
Lower body by bending at hips and knees simultaneously, descending in a controlled manner as if sitting back into a chair. Maintain upright torso position and keep knees tracking over toes. Descend until thighs are parallel to ground or slightly below
4
Drive through heels and midfoot to extend hips and knees, returning to standing position. Maintain controlled tempo throughout the concentric phase, avoiding knee lockout at top position. Complete repetition by returning to neutral standing posture
