Bend the knee of the working leg, drawing the heel toward the glutes while maintaining a stable plank position. Keep the standing leg straight and active for stability.

Slowly extend the bent knee, straightening the leg and moving it away from the body in a controlled manner, lengthening the rectus femoris and hip flexors.

Drive the knee back toward the chest in a powerful concentric motion, fully contracting the rectus femoris and hip flexors. Return to the starting position and repeat before switching legs.
