1
Sit on the leg press machine with your back and head resting firmly against the padded support. Position your feet on the platform approximately shoulder-width apart with toes pointing slightly outward. Keep your hands gripping the handles at your sides for stability.
2
Plant your feet flat on the platform with heels firmly on the surface. Adjust your seating position so your knees form a 90-degree angle at the starting position. Ensure your lower back remains in contact with the backrest throughout the movement.
3
Lower the weight by bending your knees in a controlled manner, allowing them to flex until they reach approximately 90 degrees or slightly deeper. Keep your back pressed against the pad and avoid letting your knees cave inward. Descend for 2-3 seconds without bouncing at the bottom.
4
Push through your heels and midfoot to extend your legs, driving the platform away from your body. Extend your knees fully but avoid locking them out completely at the top. Return to the starting position with control over 1-2 seconds and repeat.
