1
Stand upright with feet hip-width apart, arms in a ready position near the chest with elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees, core engaged, and neutral spine alignment.
2
Prepare by establishing a stable stance with weight distributed evenly across both feet. Keep arms ready in a defensive or running position close to the torso.
3
Lower the body by bending the knees and hips simultaneously, descending into a squat position as if sitting back into a chair. Maintain an upright torso and keep knees aligned over toes.
4
Drive through the heels and extend the knees and hips explosively to return to standing position. At the top of the movement, drive the knees upward in a dynamic motion, simulating a high-knee running or jumping action.
