1
Sit upright in a cross-legged or kneeling position with torso erect, shoulders relaxed, and core engaged. Keep your head neutral and gaze forward.
2
Begin with arms at your sides with a slight bend in the elbows. Prepare to raise both arms simultaneously out to the sides in a smooth, controlled motion.
3
Lower both arms back down to the starting position by adducting the shoulders, bringing the arms toward the body in a controlled eccentric movement lasting 2-3 seconds.
4
Raise both arms out to the sides in an abduction motion to approximately shoulder height or slightly above, maintaining a slight elbow bend. Squeeze the deltoids at the top of the movement and return to start.
