Sit on the floor with knees bent and feet flat. Lean back slightly with torso at approximately 45 degrees from the floor. Place hands behind head with fingers lightly touching the back of the head, elbows out to the sides.

Ensure feet are grounded and stable. Keep neck neutral and avoid pulling on the head. Engage core muscles and prepare for the crunch movement.

Lower the torso backward toward the floor in a controlled manner, extending the trunk and lengthening the abdominal muscles. Maintain a 45-degree angle without fully relaxing.

Drive elbows forward and lift the torso upward by contracting the abdominals, bringing the chest toward the thighs. Exhale during the lift and achieve a full crunch at the top position, then return to starting position.
