1
Stand upright with feet hip-width apart, arms at sides or in running position. Maintain neutral spine and forward-facing gaze throughout the movement.
2
Engage core and prepare to move by taking a controlled breath. Adopt a natural arm swing pattern with elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees, ready to coordinate with leg movement.
3
Push off the ground with one leg while simultaneously driving the opposite knee upward toward chest height. Allow the trailing leg to extend behind as you transition between strides in a continuous running motion.
4
Complete the stride by bringing the lifted knee down and pushing off to drive the opposite leg upward. Maintain forward momentum and continuous arm swing, returning to the starting stance briefly before initiating the next stride.
