1
Stand facing a sturdy bench or elevated surface. Position yourself with feet hip-width apart, torso upright, hands resting on the bench for light support and balance.
2
Loop the resistance band around both feet, holding the ends securely. Engage your core and maintain neutral spine alignment throughout the movement. Feet should be firmly planted on the ground.
3
Slowly extend one leg backward and upward against the band resistance, keeping the movement controlled. Allow the knee to straighten as the leg reaches its extended position behind you, feeling the hamstring lengthen under tension.
4
Reverse the movement by driving the heel backward and curling the leg, bringing the knee toward your glutes against the band resistance. Return to the starting position with controlled movement, maintaining band tension throughout.
