1
Stand with feet hip-width apart, toes facing forward, with a resistance band loop positioned around both feet. Keep torso upright with chest lifted and core engaged.
2
Hold the ends of the resistance band with both hands at shoulder height or rest them at your sides for balance. Ensure the band is taut with slight tension before beginning the movement.
3
Lower your body by bending at the knees and hips, descending into a squat position as if sitting back into a chair. Keep the band taut throughout the descent, with knees tracking over toes and weight distributed evenly across both feet.
4
Drive through the midfoot and heels to extend the knees and hips, pressing back up to the starting position. Maintain tension on the band as you return to standing, fully straightening the legs without locking out knees.
