1
Position yourself kneeling on the floor with both knees hip-width apart, feet flat on the ground behind you. Secure the resistance band around both legs just above the knees. Maintain an upright torso with neutral spine alignment and core engaged throughout the movement.
2
Grip the bench or support with hands for balance if needed. Ensure the band is positioned firmly around the knee area with sufficient tension at the starting position. Keep your head neutral and gaze forward. Feet should remain in contact with the floor throughout.
3
Slowly bring the knees together by adducting the hips, allowing the resistance band to compress. Control the movement as the band guides your knees toward each other, feeling tension release in the hip abductors and glutes. Maintain core stability and avoid leaning forward.
4
Drive the knees apart against the band resistance by abducting the hips and engaging the gluteus maximus. Extend through the glutes to return to the starting position with knees at hip-width apart. Maintain controlled movement without momentum, squeezing the glutes at full extension before the next repetition.
