1
Lie flat on your back on the floor or mat with legs extended, arms at sides for stability, and head in neutral position resting on the ground.
2
Keep one leg extended and flat on the ground. Prepare by engaging your core and positioning hands palms-down beside your body for light support if needed.
3
From the starting position, slowly lower the working leg toward the floor in a controlled manner, allowing the hip flexor and quadriceps to lengthen while maintaining a straight leg position.
4
Drive the leg upward in a controlled motion by contracting the quadriceps and hip flexors, raising the leg to approximately 45-90 degrees from the floor, then return to the starting position with control.
