1
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a medicine ball or weight at chest level with both hands. Maintain neutral spine posture with core engaged and shoulders relaxed.
2
Hold the ball firmly with both hands positioned at sternum level. Keep feet planted firmly on ground with slight knee flexion. Brace core muscles in preparation for explosive movement.
3
Slowly lower the weight in a controlled manner by bending at the waist and hips, allowing the torso to fold forward. The knees remain slightly bent as the ball descends toward the ground while maintaining spinal alignment.
4
Explosively drive through the legs and core, extending the hips and torso while pressing the medicine ball upward overhead in a smooth arc. Return to starting position with controlled movement, fully extending at the top position.
