1
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a medicine ball with both hands at chest level. Maintain an upright torso with neutral spine alignment and engaged core.
2
Position feet parallel with weight distributed evenly across all four corners of the feet. Hold the medicine ball firmly at chest height with elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees.
3
Lower your body by bending at the hips and knees simultaneously, descending into a squat position. Keep chest upright, knees tracking over toes, and weight in heels. Descend until thighs reach approximately parallel to ground or slightly below.
4
Drive through heels and extend knees and hips to return to standing position. Maintain constant tension throughout the movement and keep the medicine ball stable at chest level throughout the ascent.
