1
Lie prone (face down) on the floor or ground with your body in a straight line from head to heels. Position your hands flat on the ground beneath your shoulders, with feet together or hip-width apart.
2
Engage your core and maintain a neutral spine. Distribute your weight evenly between your hands and toes. Keep your head in neutral position aligned with your spine.
3
Lower your entire body as a single rigid unit by bending your elbows to approximately 90 degrees. Descend until your chest nearly touches the floor while maintaining strict body alignment. Elbows should track at approximately 45 degrees from your torso.
4
Press through your hands to extend your elbows and drive your body back to the starting position. Achieve full elbow extension at the top while maintaining core tension and neutral spine position. Control the movement throughout the concentric phase.
