Sit upright on the machine seat with feet firmly planted on the footrest. Grasp the handle with both hands using an overhand or neutral grip at approximately shoulder width. Keep torso upright and chest open.

Adjust the seat height so the handle aligns with the mid-chest or upper abdomen. Ensure full arm extension overhead with a slight bend in the elbows. Engage core and maintain neutral spine alignment.

Slowly release the handle by extending the arms upward and slightly forward in a controlled manner, allowing the weight to return toward the starting position. Maintain tension throughout the movement and resist the weight resistance.

Pull the handle down and toward the torso by driving elbows down and back, retracting the scapula. Bring the handle to approximately mid-chest level while maintaining upright torso position. Squeeze the lats at full contraction before returning to start.
