1
Stand upright facing the machine with feet shoulder-width apart. Position the balls of your feet on the platform with heels extending off the edge. Grasp the handles with both hands for balance and stability.
2
Establish a neutral posture with knees slightly bent but not locked. Ensure your body weight is distributed evenly across the balls of both feet. Engage your core for stability throughout the movement.
3
Lower your body by dropping your heels toward the floor in a controlled manner, allowing the calf muscles to lengthen and stretch. Descend until you feel a comfortable stretch in the calves, without letting heels touch the ground.
4
Press through the balls of your feet to rise up onto your toes, lifting your heels as high as possible. Concentrate on contracting the calf muscles at the top of the movement before reversing direction for the next repetition.
