1
Sit upright on the machine seat with back firmly against the backrest. Position feet flat on the floor or footrest. Adjust seat height so handles are at shoulder level.
2
Grasp the dumbbell handles with a neutral grip (palms facing each other). Keep elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees and positioned slightly in front of the body.
3
Slowly lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by allowing elbows to descend while maintaining a slight bend. Lower until dumbbells reach approximately shoulder height or slightly below, feeling a stretch in the shoulder muscles.
4
Press the dumbbells upward and slightly inward in a smooth arc motion, extending arms overhead until nearly full elbow extension. Return to the starting position with control, avoiding lockout at the top.
