Sit upright on the machine seat with back firmly against the backrest, feet flat on the floor or footrest, and torso at 90 degrees to the machine frame.

Grasp the handles with a neutral grip at chest height, elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees, positioned slightly below shoulder level. Ensure shoulder blades are retracted and core is engaged.

Slowly allow the handles to return toward the body by resisting the weight, controlling the movement as the arms flex and chest muscles lengthen over 2-3 seconds without letting the weight stack rest.

Press the handles forward in a controlled manner by contracting the chest muscles, extending the arms fully without locking elbows, then return to the starting position with chest fully contracted at the end range.
