1
Sit upright on the machine with your back firmly against the backrest, feet flat on the floor or footrest, and hands holding the handlebar attachment at chest height with arms extended forward.
2
Grip the handlebar with both hands shoulder-width apart, maintaining neutral wrist alignment. Engage your core and retract your shoulder blades slightly to prepare for the pulling motion.
3
Slowly pull the handlebar toward your chest by retracting your shoulder blades and flexing your elbows, allowing your arms to bend as you draw the weight resistance toward your body in a controlled eccentric manner.
4
Drive your elbows backward and downward, pulling the handlebar to your chest while keeping elbows close to your torso. Squeeze your lats at peak contraction, then extend your arms forward to return to starting position with control.
