1
Sit upright on the machine with your torso perpendicular to the seat. Position yourself so the machine's pivot point aligns with your shoulder joint. Grip the handle with both hands using a neutral or overhand grip at approximately shoulder width.
2
Ensure your back is straight and core is engaged. Place your feet flat on the footrest to stabilize your lower body. Keep a slight bend in your elbows and maintain neutral spinal alignment throughout the movement.
3
Slowly return the handle to the starting position by extending your arms forward in a controlled manner. Allow the weight to stretch your latissimus dorsi and shoulder muscles without losing postural stability.
4
Pull the handle toward your torso by driving your elbows backward and downward, retracting your shoulder blades. Squeeze the lats at full contraction, bringing the handle to approximately chest level while maintaining upright posture.
