Sit upright on the machine with back firmly against the backrest. Position feet flat on the floor or footrest. Adjust seat height so handles align with mid-chest level.

Grasp the handles with a neutral or slightly pronated grip at chest height. Keep elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees, positioned slightly behind the frontal plane of the body.

Slowly allow the handles to move backward in a controlled manner, feeling the stretch across the chest and anterior shoulders. Maintain contact with the backrest throughout the movement. Inhale during this phase.

Push the handles forward and inward using chest muscles, bringing them together in front of the body. Exhale as you press, achieving a full contraction of the pectoralis major at the end position before returning to the start.
