Adjust the machine seat height so the pivot point aligns with your lower ribcage. Ensure a comfortable grip and stable foot position. Take a deep breath to prepare.

Slowly lean backward against resistance, extending your torso as the seat moves back. Control the movement by allowing your abdominal muscles to lengthen under tension. Maintain contact with the backrest throughout.

Contract your abdominal muscles and flex forward at the waist, drawing your ribcage toward your pelvis. Return to the starting position with controlled movement. Exhale during the concentric phase.
