Lever Lying Chest Press plate loaded

Instructions

1
Position yourself on an inclined leg press machine or similar apparatus. Sit with back firmly against the backrest, shoulders relaxed and retracted. Grip the handles with hands positioned at shoulder width, arms bent at approximately 90 degrees. Feet should be flat on the footrest.
2
Ensure a neutral spine against the backrest. Place hands on the handles with a comfortable grip width. Elbows should be positioned at roughly 90 degrees and tucked slightly in front of the body. Engage your core and brace for the pressing movement.
3
Slowly lower the handles toward your torso by allowing your elbows to flex. The descent should be controlled over 2-3 seconds. Keep elbows from flaring excessively outward; maintain a trajectory where forearms remain relatively vertical. Lower until you achieve a mild stretch in the triceps without losing control.
4
Press the handles forward and upward by extending at the elbows, driving through the triceps. Extend arms nearly fully without locking out the elbows. Return to the starting position with control. Maintain constant tension on the triceps throughout the concentric phase.
