Sit upright on the machine seat with your back firmly against the backrest. Position your feet flat on the floor or footrest for stability. Ensure your torso is centered and aligned with the machine's pivot point.

Grasp the handles with a neutral grip (palms facing each other) at approximately chest height. Keep your elbows bent at roughly 90 degrees and positioned slightly below shoulder level. Ensure a firm grip on the handles.

Slowly allow the handles to move backward in a controlled manner by resisting the machine's resistance. Let your chest muscles lengthen as your arms extend slightly behind your body plane. Maintain contact with the backrest throughout the movement.

Drive the handles forward and together in a smooth, controlled motion by contracting your chest muscles. Press until your arms are nearly extended but not locked. Return to the starting position with control and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
