Sit upright on the machine seat with back firmly against the backrest. Position feet flat on the foot platform. Adjust the seat height so the handles align with mid-chest level.

Grasp the machine handles with a neutral grip (palms facing each other) at chest height. Keep shoulders relaxed and core engaged. Ensure elbows are bent at approximately 90 degrees.

Slowly allow the handles to move backward by opening your chest, resisting the weight. The elbows should track in a controlled manner, maintaining tension in the pectoral muscles throughout the movement.

Drive the handles forward and together in a controlled motion by contracting the chest muscles. Squeeze at the end position without locking elbows. Return to the starting position with control.
