Lever Belt Squat

Instructions

1
Stand on the machine platform with feet shoulder-width apart, positioned in front of the leg press footplate. Back and head should rest firmly against the padded support. Keep your torso upright and core engaged.
2
Place feet flat on the footplate with heels approximately shoulder-width apart and toes pointed slightly outward. Grip the handles on either side for stability. Position feet such that knees are at approximately 90 degrees in the starting position.
3
Slowly lower the weight by bending at the knees and hips, allowing the footplate to move toward your body. Lower until knees reach approximately 90 degrees of flexion or slightly deeper, ensuring knees do not cave inward. Maintain contact with the backrest throughout the descent.
4
Press through the middle of your feet to extend the knees and hips, driving the footplate away from your body. Push until legs are nearly fully extended but knees remain slightly bent to avoid locking out. Return to the starting position in a controlled manner without pausing at the top.
