Sit on the machine with feet firmly on the footrest platform. Grasp the overhead handles with a wide grip, arms fully extended above head. Keep torso upright and core engaged against the backrest.

Adjust the seat height so handles are at or slightly above shoulder level when arms are extended. Ensure feet are securely positioned on the footrest for stability and leverage throughout the movement.

Slowly lower the handles in a controlled manner by letting the arms extend upward and slightly forward, resisting the weight stack. Maintain upright posture and feel the stretch in the lats and shoulders at full extension.

Pull the handles down and toward the torso by contracting the lats, driving elbows down and back. Bring the handles to approximately chest level, squeeze the lats maximally at the bottom position, then return to starting position with control.
