Lever Alternate Leg Press plate loaded

Instructions

1
Sit on the leg press machine with your back and head resting firmly against the padded support. Position feet on the platform shoulder-width apart with toes pointing slightly outward. Knees should be aligned over ankles.
2
Place hands on the side handles for stability and support. Ensure your lower back maintains contact with the backrest throughout the movement. Take a deep breath to prepare for the descent.
3
Slowly lower the weight by bending at the knees and hips, controlling the descent through the quadriceps. Lower until knees reach approximately 90 degrees or slightly less, but do not allow knees to cave inward or extend past toes.
4
Drive through the heels and midfoot to extend the knees and hips, pressing the platform away. Return to the starting position with a controlled movement, stopping just short of full knee extension at the top. Exhale during the concentric phase.
