Keep one leg extended on the ground while preparing to lift the opposite leg, maintain stable plank alignment with engaged core and shoulders packed

Lower the extended leg back to the starting plank position in a controlled manner, maintaining hip stability and avoiding rotation of the torso

Drive the heel of the working leg upward and backward in a controlled arc, squeezing the glute at the top position, then return to plank position and repeat for desired reps before switching legs
