1
Start in a plank position with hands placed slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, arms fully extended, body in a straight line from head to heels with feet together or hip-width apart
2
Engage your core by bracing abdominal muscles, keep shoulders retracted, maintain a neutral spine aligned with your head, and distribute weight evenly through both hands
3
Lower your body by bending elbows to approximately 90 degrees, keeping elbows at roughly 45-degree angle to body, descend until chest nearly touches the floor while maintaining rigid body alignment
4
Push through palms to extend elbows and drive body upward back to starting position, exhale during the pressing motion, maintain core tension and straight body position throughout the return phase
