1
Start in a plank position with hands shoulder-width apart, body forming a straight line from head to heels, core engaged, and legs together or slightly apart for stability.
2
Engage your core, glutes, and legs to maintain a rigid torso. Position hands directly under shoulders with a neutral wrist position. Prepare to lower your body by inhaling.
3
Lower your body by bending at the elbows, keeping them at approximately 45 degrees from your body. Descend until your chest nearly touches the floor or reaches a comfortable depth, maintaining a straight body alignment throughout.
4
Press through your palms to extend your elbows and return to the starting plank position. Exhale as you drive upward, engaging chest and triceps to complete one repetition.
