Stand upright with feet hip-width apart, body weight distributed evenly. Maintain an upright torso with shoulders back and core engaged. Arms at sides or in running position.

Begin in standing position. Engage core and prepare for dynamic movement. Maintain neutral spine alignment with forward gaze.

Lower body by bending one knee, driving it upward toward chest while the opposite leg extends. Control the eccentric phase by allowing the standing leg to slightly flex as the opposite knee lifts.

Drive the knee upward explosively toward chest height, engaging the hip flexors and quadriceps. Return leg to ground by extending the knee and hip, stepping forward or landing in place. Alternate legs in a running or marching pattern.
