1
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, torso upright, and arms held at chest level or extended forward for balance. Maintain neutral spine alignment with engaged core.
2
Begin from standing position with bodyweight distributed evenly across both feet. Keep chest up and shoulders back. Prepare to initiate downward movement by slightly inclining torso forward.
3
Lower your body by flexing both knees and hips simultaneously, descending toward the ground as if sitting into a chair. Maintain an upright torso angle and keep knees tracking over toes. Continue lowering until thighs approach parallel to ground or to comfortable depth.
4
Drive through heels and midfoot to extend knees and hips, returning to standing position. Maintain core engagement throughout ascent. Complete one repetition when returning to full standing position with knees fully extended.
