1
Stand with feet hip-width apart, arms extended out to sides at shoulder height for balance, chest upright, and core engaged. Distribute weight evenly across both feet.
2
Maintain an upright posture with neutral spine alignment. Keep arms extended laterally throughout the movement. Look straight ahead to maintain balance.
3
Lower your body by bending one knee and bringing the thigh parallel to the ground while keeping the standing leg extended. Allow the raised knee to lift toward hip height in a controlled manner, descending into a single-leg squat position.
4
Drive through the heel of the standing leg to extend the knee and return to the starting position. Push off with the working leg to generate upward momentum and return to standing with both legs fully extended.
