1
Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a hula hoop horizontally around your waist at navel height. Maintain neutral spine alignment with core engaged and shoulders relaxed.
2
Grip the hoop lightly with both hands positioned at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock. Establish a stable stance with knees slightly bent and weight distributed evenly through both feet.
3
Initiate torso rotation by twisting the trunk to one side, allowing the hoop to rotate with the movement of your hips and core. The hoop descends slightly as rotational range extends, maintaining circular motion around the waist.
4
Drive the rotation back to center using core muscles, then continue rotation to the opposite side in a continuous circular pattern. Maintain steady rhythm and control throughout the complete rotational cycle.
