1
Stand upright with feet hip-width apart, core engaged, and arms ready at sides or in running position. Maintain neutral spine and forward-facing gaze throughout the movement.
2
Begin in standing position with weight distributed evenly on both feet. Prepare arms in running motion position with elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees, ready to drive movement.
3
Step backward with one leg, lowering the body toward the ground by bending both knees until the rear knee approaches the floor and front knee reaches approximately 90 degrees of flexion. Control the descent with quadriceps engagement.
4
Drive through the front heel and extend both knees powerfully, returning to standing position while driving the opposite knee upward in a running motion. Alternate legs in a continuous jogging pattern.
