1
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, maintaining an upright torso with chest up and shoulders back. Keep arms positioned at chest level with elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees.
2
Engage core muscles by bracing abdominals. Position feet parallel with weight distributed evenly across the entire foot. Arms remain in front of chest with hands ready to drive the motion.
3
Lower your body by simultaneously bending both knees and hips, descending into a squat position until thighs reach approximately parallel to the ground. Maintain neutral spine and forward-facing gaze throughout descent.
4
Drive through heels and midfoot to explosively extend knees and hips, returning to standing position. Simultaneously drive arms forward and upward with knee drive to generate momentum and power through the movement.
