Hang from pull-up bar with straight arms, feet together, shoulders engaged and retracted. Maintain a neutral spine and core engagement throughout the movement.

Grip the bar with hands slightly wider than shoulder-width using a closed grip. Depress shoulders away from ears and establish a stable dead hang position before initiating the movement.

Lower the legs with control by extending at the hips and knees, allowing gravity to lengthen the abdominal muscles and iliopsoas. Maintain tension throughout the eccentric phase without swinging.

Contract the abdominals to flex the spine and drive the knees toward the chest, bringing legs to approximately hip height or higher depending on ability. Return to dead hang with control and repeat.
